Second Week

Another week is gone.
Work with children, going out, cook, buy food and so on, that's more or less the activities I do from monday to thursday. So chilly week to do not be destroyed for work or in general.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to meet the awesome people of AEGEE-Bucharest during the recruiting. Watching them during the meeting, I just thought that they are awesome!

We took a beer in Nick Old pub, or something like that, and just talked about Agora Kyiv and other stuff.

After the meeting, we went to home to eat and, after the time for start to drink, directly to the erasmus party in a place called "El Dictador".

Today we had the romanian course of language.
Sometimes I think to understood everything but I realize after a while that it's not like this!

Btw now just waiting for the training of next week, a little erasmus plus in the erasmus plus.
It will be awesome: sessions, hotel, 80 volunteers and parties!

First Weekend!

And the first weekend is gone.
Probably one of the most relax weekend I ever made.

Friday we had the first Romanian lesson.
A language quite easy for people than have a latin language, but not so much as you think.
The lesson was about a Romanian to survive.
Some of the words we learned was:

Salut = Hi
Buna = Hello
Pafta Buna = good meal
La revedere = Goodbye
And so much other things.

Als during the same day I had the possibility to met Vlad, one of my friends from Cluj Napoca that I've met in a previous trip, playing "Guess Who" and taking a beer 0.5 for 5 lei ( around 1.1€, don't be so jealous).

Saturday a chill day with movies and enjoying the day.

Sunday still better than sunday as chill time. We went to Park Harastrau, maybe the biggest park in Bucharest, and we enjoied the day between nature and people.

Today we finish the last things for say that we officially live in Bucharest.
This evening Kindergarten!

Here we are!

Finally in the East Europe!

Here the things are quite different but not so much.
As the language for example. As you know Romanian Language is a latin language, so something is similar to italian or at least people can try to understand it.

I spent one day in Pisa before to come here, eating "cecina" a stuff make it with beans ( very tasty and tipical of there) and visiting the city.
At the end of the day, I took the flight and come here.

The first day was great!
We worked with funny children, doing games, know each other and so on.
The flat is great and we have at worst everything.

The most part of my money already went away. You know that Romania is cheap but be carefull buying stuff cause you think " oh my god, are only 3 €" but after buy 25 different thing for 3 €, your money are just a memory!

From today our weekend is started. We will see which surprises Bucharest can give us :D

- 1

Tomorrow is the Big Day.

Actually I don't know how I feel cause I still didn't understood the answer.
I'm excited for the new adventure but I'm little bit afraid. I guess is normal to be afraid now, in the end I never lived alone.
But this is not only a fear, but also a positive thing, cause it help me to improve myself and be indipendent.

The luggage is ready and the room is clean. It seems that no one ever lived there. It's weird.

Now stop with bullshits, tomorrow is the Big Day!

Flight for Pisa at 8:25 a.m.

10 Days

Doing last things to do, how you can understand from the title of the post, I miss just 10 days before to start this new experience.

The 14th october, I'll leave my land, my dear Sardinia, and I'll go to Pisa where I'll spend all day before to take the plane that will bring me to my final destination.

Obviously these will be the most intense days: say goodbye to friends, to family, finish all the work you have to do and leave.

The harder question now is: How can I put all the necessary for 7 months in a luggage?!
Fortunatly I have still 10 days to think about it.

The important thing is to be informed about what I have to bring before to travel and what can I take after I'll be there.

Now It's time to take the rest of the sunday and enjoy this amazing sardinian day :)

A New Beginning

Until Now, I thought impossible that my life could change in a week, but actually happened.
I always dreamed to do the European Voluntary Service and now, finally, I'm near to start a new chapter of my life.

Destination: Bucuresti; Romania.

I'll spend 7 months with other 5 volunteers from Spain, Bulgary and Italy. Now they are already there, managing stuff for this experience and I'll reach Romania in few days.

I have a lot of things to do before to go and everything seems to go so fast in this moment.

I'm so excited!
This will be the true first time I'll go to live "by my own" and I'll do it abroad Italy..Terrific!

Next steps:

- Take the passport
- Buy flight tickets
- prepare the luggage
- Drink my lasts 20 Ichnusa ( traditional sardinian beer)
- Buy Mirto for the trip!
